A hearty Italian classic, Rustica Pizza celebrates rustic, robust flavours. Topped with a combination of savoury cured meats, fresh vegetables, and your choice of fiore di latte or provoloe, it delivers a rich, satisfying taste. INGREDIENTS :
1 premade pizza base (store-bought, thin crust works best)
150g canned Italian peeled tomatoes or passata
Fiore Di Latte (OR Provole for a sharper flavour)
Artichoke hearts
Black olives
Prosciutto cotto (cooked ham)
Pancetta or bacon
Mushrooms
Drizzle of olive oil
[ serves 2 people ]
STEPS :
Heat to 220°C (430°F). Place a baking tray inside to get it hot.
Drain and slice artichokes, olives, and meats.
Spread tomato sauce over the base, add mozzarella, then layer artichokes, olives, bacon, and ham.
Bake 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
Drizzle of olive oil before serving.
